Set up the study samples on the sample plate and assign factor values to them.

Steps

  1. On the set up the plate details page, select the study name and factor values for each sample.
  2. The page lists the samples by the input (or well) position.
  3. (Optional) To populate multiple consecutive fields with the same factor value, select the first row and then press the shift key on your keyboard and while keeping the shift key pressed, select the last row. While keeping the shift key pressed, select the factor value. This populates all the selected fields with the same factor value.
  4. (Optional) To change the view of the plate, select study or a factor name.
  5. (Optional) Review the Statistical Power estimate, by study.
  6. The statistical power value depends on the values of the assumptions in the settings.
  7. When finished, click Next Step.
  8. The following page depends on the quantification method of your sample files:
  • If you are creating a TMT method file, see Assign the batch information
  • If you are creating a label-free method file, see Assign the sequence information
