The instrument interface is located at the front of the instrument on the bottom left and is used to control the function of the instrument, run service tools, and run methods, tests, and procedures on the instrument.
Steps
- Tap Start Setup.
- Enter the system name.
- Tap Next.
- Review the settings, and tap Next.
- To edit the automatically detected settings, see Set up the instrument interface.
- Enter your username.
- Enter your password.
- Re-enter your password.
- Tap Admin.
- Tap Next.
- For password recovery, select and answer three security questions.
- (Answers are case sensitive.)
- The system displays an account creation confirmation.
- Tap Next.
- Review the installation instructions, and tap Next.
- Read the Terms and Conditions information, and tap Accept.
- Tap Finish.
- The Home screen appears.
NOTE
The instrument runs the power-on self test before it is ready for use. Ensure the front door is closed and the physical connections are accurately established.

Date/Date Format | Tap the date. On the Setup screen: select your date format order of day, month, and year. Select the month, day, and year for the date. Tap Save. |
Time/Time Format | On the Setup screen: select 12 hour or 24 hour clock. Select the time. Tap Save. |
Time Zone | Tap the time zone. On the Setup screen, select the time zone. Tap Save. |
Network | On the Setup screen, enter the IP address. Enter the subnet mask number. Enter the default gateway. Enter the primary DNS server. Tap Save. |
NOTE
Generally, for DHCP networks, the IP address of the instrument is automatically detected by the network. Use the network configuration setting to manually configure the network connection.
